Young Wooldridge’s Bankruptcy Practice Group includes attorneys Leonard K. Welsh and Lauren Naworski-Smith, legal assistant Trinette Lidgett, and legal secretary Cidny Anguiano. Welsh has more than 40 years of experience as a bankruptcy attorney and is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell. Welsh had been named a Super Lawyer” 14 times by Thomson Reuters

Naworski-Smith was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2019 and is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara and the Pepperdine University School of Law. Naworski- Smith worked as a legal intern for Congressman Kevin McCarthy, the Arizona Diamondbacks, Fox Sports, and Greater Bakersfield Legal Assistance and as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Frank R. Zapata, Senior United States District Judge for the District Arizona, before joining Young Wooldridge

Young Wooldridge’s Bankruptcy Practice Group represents clients in all areas of insolvency, bankruptcy, and debtor-creditor rights with an emphasis on business and individual reorganization cases filed under Chapters 11,12, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. Welsh has successfully represented more than 150 businesses and individuals in reorganization cases [the most of any attorney in Kern County] and hundreds more in Chapter 7 liquidation/debt discharge cases. Young Wooldridge’s Bankruptcy Practice Group works to help clients resolve their debtorcreditor problems outside of bankruptcy but Young Wooldridge is prepared to represent clients as debtors or creditors in bankruptcy cases when the need arises.
