Daniel M. Root was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. Upon graduation from Garces Memorial High School in 2008, he attended the University of San Diego where he graduated in 2012 with a B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and a Minor in Leadership Studies.
In the Fall of 2013, after working and living in San Diego and Lake Tahoe, Daniel began his legal studies at the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. While at McGeorge School of Law, he was a Primary Editor for the University of Pacific Law Review, receiving awards for his involvement with the law journal. Daniel was also involved in the Administrative Law Clinic, where he was trained and certified to act as an Administrative Law Judge. Prior to his graduation from law school, Daniel interned for the Kern County District Attorney’s Office and at a private law firm.
In May of 2016, Mr. Root graduated from McGeorge School of Law, with concentrations in Business Law and Environmental Law. He returned to Bakersfield to start practicing law in his hometown.
Daniel takes pride in his Basque and Italian heritage, and enjoys embracing both cultures and once again being a part of the local community.
